I. Introduction

    The FAR-7300A 6.1-channel A/V Processor adds rear-center surround capability, and Dolby Digital EX and DTS-ES decoding.

    Many of the latest DVD releases contain Dolby Digital EX and DTS-ES soundtracks, which include a center surround channel for 6.1 surround sound. The FAR-7300A is compatible with these new formats, as well as Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1 encoded titles. The Processor also includes Dolby Pro Logic II processing, which can derive a satisfying multichannel experience from two-channel sources.

    The on-screen display and fluorescent front panel display make setup and operation of the receiver easy and fast. Speaker configuration and delay settings allow for simple optimization of any speaker arrangement. The processor high quality AM/FM tuner section has 40 random presets, and FM automatic scan tuning.
